These tools were developed to ease the difficulty of working with fragile, complex, small or large etched metal parts.  The tools consist of a baseplate and a tool head.  The tool head is spring loaded allowing it to be raised and lowered with a quick twist of a knob.  The tool head combines a sharp edge with a vise action to hold parts securely along a fold line.  Secured parts are then folded by slipping a razor blade or other sharp straight edge under the part and levering it to the desired angle.

Complex parts are shaped by rotating the tool head on the base and using the different width "fingers" on the tool head to reach into pan and box shapes, allowing you to fold all the sides. (and the lid too!)

Parts large or small can be secured and folded into almost any combination of "Z" and "U" shapes and angles from 0-90° and beyond.

The precision edged, tight fitting tool head produces straight, sharp folds that rulers and tweezers cannot compare to.  Parts are kept safe and secure on your bench, eliminating lost and mangled parts.  The tool can also be used for clamping and scribing    The more you use it the more useful it will become.

All Workstations come pre-assembled and include instructions and a single-edged razor blade to use as the folding blade.

As of 1 March 2007, all tools are now supplied with their respective long folding blade.

The folding blades are still available separately in 4" (FB4), 5" (FB5) and 8" (FB8) lengths.  These are priced at $4-00, $4-50 and $6-00 respectively.

The seven items above form the basis of the range of tools available.  

As of 9 August 2007, the kits will be no longer available as they have been discontinued.
